My
theme was "Light in the Darkness". Illustrated as both a sign (represented in
the star that appeared to the wise men), and a hope (what we long for, what has
been promised) and the truth of this from Matthew, which someone sent to me as
part of a Christmas greeting, encapsulates the reality for me of living in this
faith: 4:16
the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the
land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”
And as women I felt we needed to be reminded of this: "Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished." Luke 1:45.
